Members and event types
A member is a bookable person or resource, such as a doctor, a stylist or the reception desk. An event type is what people book with them, with one or more durations.
Applications
The Calendar lets people book time with you: from a link on your website, from your own code, or from the voice agent while they are on the phone. Every booking, whoever makes it, goes through one place, so the same slot can never be taken twice.
What it does
It holds your bookable people and resources, their hours and their event types, publishes a booking page, and keeps every booking with its reminders, its notes and its outcome.
A member is a bookable person or resource, such as a doctor, a stylist or the reception desk. An event type is what people book with them, with one or more durations.
Weekly hours per member in their timezone, several named schedules, date overrides, out-of-office ranges and holiday lists, with the Greek national holidays built in.
Every event type has a public booking page. Embed it inline, as a floating button, as a pop-up on your own element, or as an email card, in your theme and language.
Buffers before and after, minimum notice, a booking window, daily or monthly caps, extra questions for the booker, and event types that require confirmation before the slot is final.
Upcoming, past, pending and cancelled. Reschedule, reassign to another member, cancel, confirm or reject, mark no-shows, and keep internal notes the booker never sees.
A confirmation with a calendar invite when the booker gives an email, a cancel update when a booking is cancelled, and reminders before the appointment.
Attach the calendar to a voice agent and it gets four tools: check availability, book, manage a booking, reassign. Name and phone are enough on the phone.
Bookings per event type and member, the no-show rate, and what your booking page converts, on the Insights page.
Add a member, set the weekly hours, create an event type, and share the booking link or attach the calendar to an agent.
Open Calendar in the console and add the person or resource people will book. A member does not need a login.
Choose the timezone and the weekly hours and save. This is the step that makes slots appear. Add holidays, overrides and out-of-office ranges as you need them.
A title, one or more durations, a location (in person, phone or a link), the schedule it uses, and any limits, questions or approval you want.
Copy the booking link, embed it on your site, or attach the calendar to a voice agent so callers book on the phone through the very same slots.
Any business that gives people a time: clinics, salons, workshops, consultants, showrooms and support teams.
Doctors as members, visit types with different durations, approval on first visits, and the agent booking on the phone in the evening.
Stylists or bays as members, services as event types, buffers between appointments, and reminders that cut the no-shows.
A booking link on the website and in email signatures, a video link as the location, and the invite in both calendars.
When a member is out, move their bookings to a colleague offering the same service, and the booker gets the update.
Reminders before the appointment and a no-show rate you can watch per event type and member.
List event types, read open slots, book, cancel and reschedule from the API and the SDK, with the same rules as the page.
Example 1
Three therapists are members, each with their own weekly hours and the national holidays applied. Event types are a first assessment of 45 minutes, which requires confirmation, and a follow-up of 30 minutes. The booking page is embedded on the practice's website.
A patient calls while the reception is busy. The voice agent finds them in the contact book, offers the first open follow-up slots with their usual therapist, books the one they choose, and the patient receives the invite. Reception sees the booking in Upcoming with the call in the journal next to it.
Example 2
Visits are booked from a link in the newsletter and from the website chat. Google Calendar is connected for each salesperson, so their existing meetings block the slots and the showroom visit appears in their calendar the moment it is booked.
On Monday morning a scheduled operations agent emails the manager the list of the week's visits, and the no-show rate on the Insights page tells them which reminder timing works best.
The Calendar connects to your calendars, your website, your video tools and your own software.
Each member can connect either or both. Bookings appear there and existing events block the slots automatically.
Inline, floating button, pop-up or email card embeds of the booking page, in your theme and language.
A video link as the location of an event type, sent with the confirmation.
Confirmations, cancellations and reminders, from our sender or from your own SMTP relay.
A notification to your systems when a booking is created, moved or cancelled.
Every calendar operation is available to your code, with the API reference and a request runner in the console.
The Calendar is the one place every booking goes through. The voice agent books into it on the call, the Contacts application knows who booked, and operations agents can report on it.
Attach the calendar to an agent and callers book, move or cancel appointments on the phone through the same slots as your booking page.
A caller recognised from the contact book is booked under their name and number, and the booking sits next to their call history.
A scheduled run can email the day's appointments, and a webhook step can create or move bookings through the Calendar API.
The Calendar is part of every package from Growth up. Tell us how you book today and we will show you the page, the agent and the calendar sync together.
